By creating an account or using Shvas ("श्वा", the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Shvas is a breathwork and pranayama guidance app that offers breathing techniques, progress tracking, and educational content. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. One account per person.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Shvas. If you are under 18, please use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Shvas is a wellness and educational tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care.
Breathwork — especially advanced techniques involving breath retention (such as Kumbhaka or Murcha) or rapid breathing (such as Bhastrika or Kapalabhati) — can carry real risks. Do not attempt these techniques if you are pregnant, or have cardiovascular, respiratory, or blood-pressure conditions, anxiety or panic disorders, epilepsy, or any other medical concern without first consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
Always practise in a safe position (ideally seated, never in water or while driving). Stop immediately and return to normal breathing if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell. You are responsible for judging what is appropriate for your own body and circumstances.
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to access data you are not authorised to view, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
The Service, its content, and its design are owned by Shvas and our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own practice. Content you create (such as logged moods) remains yours.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any harm, loss, or injury resulting from your use of the Service or your practice of any technique it describes.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we otherwise decide to discontinue the Service.
